Hallo Leute,

ich hab ein Problem und zwar hab ich mit Rag Time eine Broschüre erstellt und wollte sie jetzt in einer Druckerei drucken lassen. Doch die sagen mir jetzt das die Schriften korrekt eingebunden werden müssen. Mein Frage lautet deswegen muss ich das in Rag Time machen und wenn ja wie oder in der pdf-Version?

Seit einiger Zeit - mir scheint, seit Installation von OS X 10.5 Leopard - habe ich ein Problem mit dem Papierformat des Default-Dokumentes. Jedes neue Dokument wird mit A4 für "Alle Drucker" geöffnet, statt mit A4 für meinen Standarddrucker (hat schmalere unbedruckbare Ränder), wie das früher auch perfekt funktioniert hat. Es ist unangenehm, diese Eigenschaft für jedes neue Dokument ändern zu müssen. Aber ich habe noch nicht rausbekommen, wie ich das ändern kann. Hat da jemand einen Tipp? Danke!

Übrigens würde ich auch den linken Rand des "Ur-Containers" in diesem Dokument gerne auf 2 cm legen. Das würde wahrscheinlich im gleichen Zug gehen. Diese Sachen werden ja im RT6-Hilfsmittel-Dokument gesichert. Dieses lässt sich aber nicht gezielt "ansteuern," weder öffnen noch überschreiben.

there are some warnings about copy and paste text with named text on it?

If I duplicate a text component, I see in 'Name editor' the names are duplicated too. But if I try to manage those names duplicates, for examples trying to delete some names, Ragtime crashes.
If I Copy and Paste a text with named text, I see the names are copied too, but when I try to use the names, those referre to different part of text.

It is a know problem, or I can try to send a report to Ragtime Support?

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, ein Dokument (Tabelle), dass diese Anzeige - Fehlernr.:-2145413096 - beim Öffnen hat, auf eine andere Art wiederherzustellen?

Habe TextEdit und Acrobat ohne Erfolg probiert.

Dort sehe ich nur Hieruglyphen!

- open a text component
- write some lines of text, for example:

"hello

I'm here"

- select "here"
- create a name in the name editor called "target"

- select "hello"
- Extras - Mark for index
- Extras - Mark as hyperlink
- Set "target" as name for the target of the hyperlink

Now clicking "hello" Ragtime 'jump' to "here". This is ok.

Here's the bug:

- Windows - Auxialiares - Index entries editor
- Select hello
- Select delete

Ragtime do not delete the "hello" from the Index, but delete the "target" in the name editor! Tring again to delete the index entries, ragtime gives an error.

Ragtime 6,0,2 - Osx 10,3

I'm working at a book with many hyperlinks. Actually I use ragtime 6,5 at home, tiger computer, and Ragtime 6,0,2 in another computer, panther os.
Yesterday I was working with 6,0,2.
Using the trick thomas told me to have header with current heading, I was compiling the spreadsheet component with "the number of page" function.
One of the page number gives me an error, like I forgot to noumn the header. I open the layout and jump to the chapter to see what was happening, and I found a really strange thing.
In a page I have the chapter (was a short one, less than a page). And in the next page I have again the same chapter. I thinked "oh, I make a copy and paste, strange", and begin to select one of those chapter to delete it. But when I begin to select the text in the first chapter, I see Ragtime was selecting the text in the next page too! There was two cursor blinking, one in the first page and another in the next page.
If i try to move the cursor down, when it goes out of the page, it jump again at the beginning of the page.
I was unable to copy only one of the "double chapter", so I made from finder a copy of the active file and I open the copy to copy-and-paste the original chapter, a bad idea cause Ragtime freeze when I tried to save, and I need to force the quit of the application and re-lauch it.

Reopening the file I lost the work I have done in spreadsheet, but the double chapter was still there. I select the text object and open the component of the first one and the second one, to be sure thay was related to the same component, and they was.
In the original text component there was only one chapter!

At the end of the game: I select the chapter using the text component (and not the layout), cut, and paste. This time all was working fine. I cross the finger and save and this time Ragtime saves.

I do not understand how this problems could be born. The text object in pages are flushing the text one in to the next one, so it is impossibile that I created two indipendent text object related to the same content. And the chapter is in the middle of the content, is not a indipendent one.

Anyone have got something similar in paste? There is something I have doe that I can not understand?

Hi,

I got a problem creating PDF with hyperlink.
If the hyperlink is a sentence that begin in a line and continue in the next line, the part of the sentence that is in the second line is underlined as a hyperlink, but the hyperlink do not work.

Is a know problem?
