Probleme mit öffnen von Dateien mit verknüpfte Abbildungen

RagTime 6.6.2 Build 1875 steht nun zum download zur Verfügung. Nun wird im Öffnen-Dialog wieder nach dem Dateinamen gefragt.

Thanks for the quick reply. We would be grateful for a 'Zeitnah' solution as our documentation department has a very tight delivery schedule.

As extra information I have described what we usually do as as a short term workaround but this is of limited use.

Usually, when on opening the document, you can click on 'Abbrechen' when the dialog appears for a missing graphic, and then the document will open and we have to saerch for the missing graphic.

However, if there are more than 3 or 4 graphics that RT cannot 'find', (this is not unusual)** the repeated click on 'Abbrechen' will cause RT to crash.

**For some reason RT, in some cases, does not make a 'clean' link to graphics and on saving the document the link is lost resulting in the message the next time the document is opened. We have tried creating new empty docuemnts and re-linking all the graphics with the same results. This behaviour has been present since we have been using RT (RT3 onwards).

Das ist eine neue Information. In diesem Fall würde ich Sie bitten den Absturzbericht an support@ragtime.de zu senden.

Ich habe soeben einen kurzen Test gemacht. Dazu habe ich 40 verschiedene Bilder mit Verknüpfung platziert und dann die Bilder gelöscht. Wenn ich nun das RagTime-Dokument neu öffne, bekomme ich die "Öffnen"-Dialoge und klicke immer "Abbrechen". Bei mir kommt es nicht zum crash. Somit haben wir hier kein generelles Problem und man müsste untersuchen, wieso es bei Ihnen zum Absturz kommt.

Your test was made on the assumption that the linked graphics were deleted. This is not the case in our situation. The document is created, graphics linked, saved and closed so it can be reused.

The problem occurs on re-opening the document. We will continue to research this and when RT crashes I will forward the report.

Sounds good. We can only fix issues that we know. When you report it please include the used image paths and the output of "df" from Terminal.
